Definition
The object of this service is to verify during packing operation that the packing materials and its marking are in conformity with the contractual specifications

- Each intervention will be summarized in written report
Typical operations performed
- 1. Identification of the material and/or packing equipment before packing
- 2. Checking the cleanliness and calibration status of packing equipment, verification of the protection of packing equipment against humidity, distortion and other sources of damages
- 3. Verification of the conformity of the packing material with the contractual specifications and with accepted practice
- 4. Verification of the conformity of marking with the contractual specifications and handling requirements
- 5. Upon request, checking the correctness of the issuance of documentation such as packing list, bill of lading.. and /or checking the suitability of the packing material to withstand the scheduled transportation, loading and unloading operation
- 6. Upon special request, sealing or stamping of cargo packed as evidence of the inspection performed
